Surgeries are performed 7 days of the week at Greenwood Animal Hospital. If your pet needs a surgery you can be assured to receive the expertise for our veterinarians & surgeons to perform procedures at the highest standard. Our goal is to make our patients as stress-free and comfortable as possible, which in turn will also help speed up recovery!

Surgeries take time both in clinic, but more importantly at home post-operatively. It's our goal to educate our clients on the information regarding the care your pet will need after any surgery. Therefore, when you schedule your appointment, an employee or more commonly the veterinarian, will describe the procedure to you and answer any questions you have.

 

Additionally, when you arrive to pick up your pet from surgery, a member of our staff will describe all the important information regarding post-op care. You may even ask us to make you a take-home handout you can read over at your spare time.
